Business and Marketing Education, PTC
This program is for students currently holding a bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree and would like to pursue teaching business and marketing education in a secondary school environment in New York State. To be eligible for admission,* the following requirements must be satisfied: (1) Completion of a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration of at least 36 credit hours in business and business-related courses, such as computer science and economics, with a minimum 2.5 GPA. The department will accept up to 6 credits in either CIS and/or economics. All other courses should match the required courses in the business/marketing education major. (2) Provide a resume. (3) Provide a statement of qualification (essay format).
Note: This program is considered a postbaccalaureate program. Interested students should apply through the Graduate School.
