Bengala 2024: 27th Annual Buffalo State Foundation Scholarship Gala

The 27th annual Buffalo State Foundation Scholarship Gala—Bengala 2024—welcomed faculty and staff members, students, alumni, and friends of the university to campus on April 13 in E. H. Butler Library. The event featured cocktails, food stations, a mobile silent auction, the traditional Stand for a Student pledge drive, a performance by current students, dancing, and dessert. This year’s theme, “Connecting the Past with Our Future,” featured a display of items from Buffalo State’s rich and unique Archives and Special Collections. All proceeds from Bengala support Buffalo State students through academic scholarships and emergency financial assistance. Since the signature fundraiser began in 1998, the gala has raised roughly $6 million for student support.
