Families are invited to enjoy a day of artmaking, gallery games, the unveiling of artwork for the Oishei Children’s Hospital Outpatient Center, and more during a special Fall Family Day event at the Burchfield Penney Art Center at Buffalo State University on Saturday, October 5. Held in partnership with Hyatt’s All Things Creative and the Oishei Children’s Hospital Healing Arts Program, this free event is open to all ages. Families can choose from two sessions: 10:00 a.m.–noon, or 1:00–3:00 p.m. Registration is required for either session. Please visit the Burchfield Penney website to secure your spot.
Fall Family Day Highlights
- Autumn Artmaking Activities: Explore your creativity with seasonal projects such as Cinnamon Stick Forests, Pinecone Printed Trees, and Fall Faces Ornaments.
- Interactive Gallery Fun: Embark on a game of “I Spy” or engage in drawing activities within the galleries.
- Art Unveiling: Be the first to experience the unveiling of new artwork created by talented local artists for the Oishei Children’s Hospital Outpatient Center and meet the artists behind the works.
- DJ Milk Takes the Stage! Local favorite DJ Milk will provide music, adding lively fun and entertainment throughout the day.
