Glitz and glamour were on full display throughout the Campbell Student Union Social Hall on Sunday, February 9, as the 13th annual Television and Film Arts Night at the Oscars celebrated film excellence with a live viewing of the 92nd annual Academy Awards. Student filmmakers were also recognized with the Pioneer Awards (TFA’s version of the Oscars).
White, silver, and gold décor adorned the room, conjuring the elegance of the Roaring ’20s, the theme of this year’s event. Students and guests were given the full award show experience with red-carpet interviews, on-stage acceptance speeches from student winners, and a life-size Oscar statue for the perfect photo op.
Take a look at some of the highlights of the night in the Buffalo State College photo gallery, including winner reactions, interview snapshots, and smiles around the room!
