School of Education 2024 Teacher Tailgate

Buffalo State University’s School of Education and Professional Development Schools (PDS) Consortium hosted the annual Teacher Tailgate on October 8, a free open house gathering designed for anyone interested in education-related fields or working with children or youth. Buffalo State and Western New York departments, programs, clubs, and organizations set up shop in the Campbell Student Union Social Hall to share information and materials about campus, local, national, and international teacher education opportunities. Attendees could collaborate with peers, build relationships with colleagues and professors, and learn more about teacher education programs and resources—including teacher certification exams and seminars—as well as international experiences for educators, community engagement and service learning, and employment opportunities, all while enjoying delicious tailgate pizza.
