More than 1,800 Buffalo State College students were recognized on the spring 2020 dean’s list, which features students from around the state, the country, and the world.
While a majority of the students on the dean’s list are from New York State, students also hail from such states as California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Washington. Students from Australia, Canada, China, India, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, and Turkey were also recognized for their scholarship.
Students from across the disciplines are represented, with business administration, criminal justice, and psychology majors leading the list. Other well-represented majors include biology, computer information systems, early childhood and childhood education, and hospitality administration.
In general, students who have completed at least 12 credit hours and attained a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 for the term qualify for the Buffalo State dean’s list. Full criteria and grade-type exceptions can be found in the undergraduate catalog.
The Buffalo State Merit Page celebrates many achievements of our students and provides them with a way to build a positive online identity to share with family, friends, and potential employers.
