
Gary Siddall joined the Buffalo Society of Natural Sciences in February 2024 as its president and CEO. He functions as the senior executive with responsibility for the overall performance and planning of the Buffalo Museum of Science and Tifft Nature Preserve.
Siddall previously served as president and CEO at the Aquarium of Niagara. During his time as chief executive, Siddall led implementation of the Aquarium’s masterplan which included $15 million in capital improvements that spanned across major exhibits and improved public amenities.
In 2023, New York Governor Kathy Hochul appointed Siddall to the Buffalo State University Council in 2023, which serves as the primary oversight body to the university. Siddall has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Buffalo State University and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Medaille University.
Siddall is a recipient of the Buffalo Business First 2019 30 Under 30 award and previously served as vice chair of the Board of Directors for Destination Niagara USA and the International Marine Animal Trainers’ Association.
