When to Apply

Finger ribbon icon

SUNY Buffalo State offers rolling admission, which means there is no fixed application deadline.

Applications are reviewed as they are completed and received—the first round of fall decisions go out in mid-December for first-year (freshman) students and in mid-January for transfers.

You are welcome to submit an application at any time during the year, but are encouraged to apply as soon as you are able. The majority of our classes fill early in the semester.
