The Financial Aid Office administers the federal financial aid programs at Buffalo State and assists with acquiring state and private aid. The office also provides helpful information on scholarships and work-study positions.

When to Apply
SUNY Buffalo State offers rolling admission, which means there is no fixed application deadline.
Applications are reviewed as they are completed and received—the first round of fall decisions go out in mid-December for first-year (freshman) students and in mid-January for transfers.
You are welcome to submit an application at any time during the year, but are encouraged to apply as soon as you are able. The majority of our classes fill early in the semester.
