Dear Campus Community,
I am writing to share a significant milestone in our journey to select the next leader of our institution. As you know, the Presidential Search Committee adopted an intentionally ambitious timeline to move this search forward with momentum and care.
Our search partners at WittKieffer have been actively engaged in the marketplace for the past three months, energetically recruiting a broad and highly qualified pool of candidates. We are pleased to report that this effort has yielded a diverse group of accomplished and visionary leaders who have expressed strong interest in serving our campus and advancing its mission.
Current Progress
The search committee has completed a rigorous and thoughtful review of candidate materials, including credentials, leadership experience and alignment with our institutional values. While recruitment efforts continue in order to ensure the strongest possible pool, the committee has identified a select group of top prospects for first-round Interviews. The firm has officially invited these candidates to participate in initial interviews with the search committee, and the candidates have accepted.

Maintaining strict confidentiality is essential. Protecting the privacy of candidates is critical to ensuring a strong, competitive process and to respecting the professional obligations of those who have stepped forward. The integrity of the search depends on our collective commitment to discretion, professionalism and trust in the process. We remain committed to transparency while maintaining the necessary confidentiality that a high-level search requires to protect the professional standings of our candidates.
Looking Ahead
The energy within the committee remains high as we transition from reviewing files to meeting the individuals behind them. Our focus remains steadfast on finding a president who embodies our core values and possesses the strategic vision necessary to lead us into our next chapter.
