The social work program prepares students for generalist social work practice at the first professional level. Social Work program is a competency-based program with a liberal arts base, rooted in the profession’s core values, with a social justice foundation. Social work courses integrate micro, mezzo, and macro levels of social work practice into each core course. The program provides students with applied learning opportunities throughout the curriculum, including a year-long field practicum.
