Below is a suggested timeline for you to complete the items in your accepted student checklist.

October/November

  • Submit your Admissions Reply Form and tuition deposit (if applicable). (Completed through your applicant portal.)
  • Set up your Buffalo State online accounts.
  • Submit your health and immunization records.
  • Prepare for course registration. (Completed through your applicant portal.)

Submit your online housing and meal plan application (if living on campus).

December

  • Sign up for orientation - mandatory for all incoming students! (Register through your applicant portal.)
  • Submit proof of high school completion.
  • Submit proof of AP/IB/CLEP/college coursework.
  • Submit final college transcript.

  • Attend new student orientation.
  • Prepare for new student move-in (if living on campus).

Additional Information

All students accepted into EOP must participate in the EOP Freshman Summer Academy. This four-week residential program is designed to give incoming EOP students a strong start to their college journey and is held in July. We will send additional information to students via email in the spring.

All students accepted into R2S must participate in the Bengal Bound Summer Bridge Program. This two-week program gives incoming R2S students a strong start to their college journey. The program takes place in mid-August, before the fall semester begins, and students move directly into their assigned residence halls. We will send additional information to students via email in the spring.
